Every Lyng cabin stands on private land, hosted by the people who know the landscape best. At Gautefall, that is the local landowner family — they have lived with this plateau for generations.

They know where the trails go, when the heather blooms, and which lake is warmest in August. The cabin is placed together with them, so it borrows the view without disturbing the land it stands on — and the local tips in your arrival guide are theirs, not ours.

You will rarely see your hosts during a stay — arrival is private and self-serviced — but they are close by if you need them, and their number is in your arrival guide.
