Who we are

Lyng Cabins offers quiet cabin stays in Nordic landscapes. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. Questions and requests: hello@lyngcabins.com.

What we collect, and why

• Bookings. Bookings and payments are handled by our booking partner Campanyon. The information you enter when booking (name, contact details, payment) is processed by Campanyon under their own privacy policy. We receive the details needed to host your stay (name, contact information, dates).
• Newsletter. If you sign up, we store your email address and use it to send occasional news about new locations and available stays. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email, and we then delete your address.
• Enquiries. If you contact us or send an offsite enquiry, we store the information you submit (name, email, company, message) in order to answer you. We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them.

Cookies and embedded services

This website sets no tracking cookies of its own. Some content is loaded from third parties, which may process your IP address when the page loads:

• Campanyon (the booking calendar)
• OpenStreetMap (the area maps)
• Google Fonts (typography)

If we add analytics or marketing tools later, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@lyngcabins.com and we will respond within a month. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with the services named above, and with the landowner hosting your stay when that is necessary to arrange your arrival.
